Our members and volunteers really are the backbone of everything we do. Without them, we couldn’t exist.
You can do your part in being a part of VAUSA member or volunteer by getting involved in a whole variety of different ways. Become a Mentor in our mentorship program, volunteer in our committees to include scholarship program, Holiday toy drive, Operation Tastes from Home, annual Wreath Across America and Flag for our Heroes, Galas and fundraiser events, or Leadership symposium. Or maybe you’d like to volunteer and supporting, supporting the day-to-day running of the organization in media outreach and video production, website maintenance and management, financial and bookkeeping, events coordinator, and community outreach
It all just depends on where you think your skills are best suited and what you’d like to get stuck into.

Becoming a member and lifetime member with VAUSA is an absolutely best in making differences for our organization and members. Asides from having full benefits and support from our organization but you will make a difference. You will have the ability to vote in VAUSA BOD elections, provide inputs to update Bylaws, serve on BOD and other executive level chair.
Volunteer with us helps us promote what we do best to serve our communities include our brothers and sisters from eight different uniformed services departments and their families. We appreciate all of our volunteers as they are the engine in helping us build a wider support network for our members.
