SUMMARY:VAUSA Wreath Presentation Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The Vietnamese American community\, veterans\, families\, and supporters will gather at the Vietnam War Memorial on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston for a solemn wreath presentation ceremony honoring the men and women who served during the Vietnam War. This memorial\, standing at the heart of one of the nation’s most vibrant Vietnamese communities\, serves as a powerful symbol of sacrifice\, resilience\, and the enduring bond between generations. \n\n\n\nThe ceremony will open with a moment of reflection\, followed by remarks recognizing the courage of U.S. service members\, the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces\, and all allied nations who fought side by side. As the wreath is placed at the memorial\, attendees will observe a period of silence to honor those who gave their lives\, those who never returned home\, and those who continue to carry the memories of the war. \n\n\n\nCommunity leaders\, veterans’ organizations\, and local families will participate in the tribute\, reaffirming a shared commitment to remembrance and gratitude. The event invites all who wish to pay their respects\, reflect on the legacy of the Vietnam War era\, and stand united in honoring the heroes whose sacrifices shaped the freedoms enjoyed today.
